H state subdivision
The first digit after H represents the method of work hardening treatment.
H1 simple work hardening state
It is suitable for the state where the required strength is obtained only by work hardening without additional heat treatment.
H2 work hardening and incomplete annealing state
It is suitable for products whose strength is reduced to the specified index after incomplete annealing after the work hardening degree exceeds the specified requirements of finished products.
H3 state of work hardening and stabilization treatment
It is suitable for products whose mechanical properties are stable after low-temperature heat treatment after work hardening or due to heat in the processing process.
H4 state of work hardening and painting treatment
It is suitable for products that are not completely annealed after work hardening by painting.
The second digit after H indicates the degree of hardening of the material.
Generally, the hardening degree can be divided into 8 grades, with 1 being the lowest, 8 being the highest, and 9 representing the superhard state with higher work hardening degree than Hx8.
H12 Work hardening to 25% hardness

HXXX status
H11 is suitable for products that have undergone moderate work hardening after final annealing, but the work hardening degree is not as good as H11.
H112 is suitable for hot-working products, and the mechanical properties of products in this state have specified requirements.
H116 is suitable for products made of 5XXX alloy with magnesium content ≥4.0%. These products have specified mechanical properties and spalling corrosion resistance requirements.
O state subdivision
O1 processed materials are kept at the same temperature as solution heat treatment for the same time, and then slowly cooled to room temperature. In order to improve the formability of materials.
O2 is a deformation treatment state of superplastic processing (SPF).

TX status

T0 solution heat treatment, natural aging and cold working.

It is suitable for products that are cooled by high-temperature forming process and no longer cold worked (can be straightened and levelled, but does not affect the mechanical property limit).
T2 is cooled by high temperature forming process, and naturally aged to a basically stable state after cold working.
It is suitable for products that are cooled by high-temperature forming process and then cold worked or straightened and levelled to improve strength.
T3 solution heat treatment followed by cold working, and then natural aging to a basically stable state.
It is suitable for cold working, straightening and leveling after solution heat treatment to improve the strength of products.
T4 naturally aged to a basically stable state after solution heat treatment.
It is suitable for products that are not cold worked after solution heat treatment (can be straightened and levelled without affecting the mechanical property limit).
T5 is cooled by a high-temperature forming process, and then artificially aged.

T10 is cooled by high temperature forming process, then cold worked, and then artificially aged.

TXX status and TXXX status
(It means the state of specific process treatment that obviously changes the product characteristics (such as mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, etc.).
T42 is suitable for products that are naturally aged to a fully stable state after solution heat treatment in O or F state, and also for products whose mechanical properties reach T42 state after heat treatment in any state of the buyer.
T62 is suitable for products that are artificially aged after solution heat treatment in O or F state, and also for products whose mechanical properties reach T62 state after heat treatment of processed products in any state by the buyer.
T73 is suitable for products that are aged after solution heat treatment to achieve specified mechanical properties and stress corrosion resistance.
T74 and T73 state definitions are the same. The tensile strength of this state is greater than that of T73 state but less than that of T76 state.
T76 and T73 have the same status definitions. The tensile strength of this state is higher than that of T73 and T74 respectively, and the stress corrosion fracture resistance is lower than that of T73 and T74 respectively, but its spalling corrosion resistance is still good.
T7X2 is suitable for products with mechanical properties and corrosion resistance reaching T7X state after solution heat treatment in O or F state and artificial aging treatment.
T81 is suitable for the products after solution heat treatment, cold working deformation of about 1% to improve the strength, and then artificial aging.
T87 is suitable for the products after solution heat treatment, cold working deformation of about 7% to improve the strength, and then artificial aging.
Stress relief state (Add “51”, “510”, “511”, “52” and “54” after TX or TXX or TXXX status)
TX51/TXX51/TXXX51
It is suitable for thick plates, rolled or cold-finished bars, die forgings, forging rings or rolling rings which are stretched according to the specified amount after solution heat treatment or cooling in the high-temperature forming process, and these products are not straightened after being stretched. The permanent deformation of thick plate is 1.5% ~ 3%; Or the permanent deformation of rolled cold-finished bar is 1% ~ 3%; The permanent deformation of die forgings, forging rings or rolling rings is 1% ~ 5%.
TX510/TXX510/TXXX510
It is suitable for extruding rods, dies and tubes, and drawing tubes after solution heat treatment or cooling from high temperature forming process. These products are not straightened after stretching.The permanent deformation of extrusion rod, die and pipe is 1% ~ 3%;The permanent deformation of the drawn pipe is 1.5% ~ 3%.
TX52/TXX52/TXXX52
It is suitable for relieving stress by compression after solution heat treatment or cooling in high temperature forming process, so as to produce products with permanent deformation of 1% ~ 5%.
TX54/TXX54/TXXX54
It is suitable for die forgings which are used to relieve stress by cold shaping in the final forging die.
